The luxury brand launches the innovative home line Gucci Décor, an eclectic collection of items with which fashion lovers, and not only, will customize their homes with style.
The philosophy of creative director Alessandro Michele is preparing to win the home furnishings market by presenting a multiform home collection inspired by the most interesting themes of his recent collections, which will be applied to interior design objects such as cushions, candles, chairs and kitchen accessories.
Precious embroidery, geometric patterns and drawings taken from the immense Gucci archive feature on furnishings and pottery. Among the cult pieces, there are the porcelain produced by Richard Ginori enriched by Gucci’s signature motifs Herbarium in green and white, the same as with the geometric designs chevron and animals of Gucci Garden, bees, butterflies, beetles and rooster heads, covers the porcelain, candle holders, teapots and small incense.
The prints dress up with their decisive colors metal trays and folding tables, while the seats are even more precious, featuring wooden high-back chairs with lacquered frames and padded seats decorated with cats, tigers, King Charles Spaniel, moths, Bee and roaring tigers, all of the latest prêt-à-porter collections.
The most spectacular pieces in the home collection are however the folding screens, objects of the past, which return to the Gucci Décor collection with prints of gardens, pineapples, geometries and fantasies with polyps or leaves, or covered with pink capitonné velvet. And then double-sided pillows with ribbons and decorative borders, silk wallpaper, vinyl and plotted paper from the Pre Fall 2017 and Autumn-Winter 2015/16 collections, and four exclusive home scents.
Gucci Décor collection will be available starting this September in Gucci flagship stores, on gucci.com and at selected home interior stores. No specific area dedicated to the collection in boutiques to emphasize the Alessandro Michele’s philosophy.
