Hedi Slimane changes the Celine logo

New direction for Celine, starting from the restyling of the logo that will now be written without accent, to the debut on the catwalk of the new Creative Director Hedi Slimane on September 28th 2018, during the Paris fashion week.

New logo is actually an homage to the past, taking to the original CELINE design from the 1960s with a modernist typography from the 1930s.

The accent on the “E” has been removed and the spacing between the letters has been tightened, creating a “simplified and more balanced proportion”. The word “Paris” will also be reinstated within the clothing and packaging.

To mark this new beginning, the content of the Instagram account and the official website is dominated by a single image: a golden curtain that seems to unroll indefinitely, waiting to unveil the brand's new strategy.

Great expectation for the first Spring-Summer 2019 collection, where the new vision of the creative, artistic and image director of the French fashion house will be staged.

The collection will then be available in the elegant space entirely dedicated to the brand, in our Boutique in Via del Babuino 77, Rome.
